In Mourning For A Friend

sometimes life is hard
and you turn inside
and dig so deep
that you can't find a way back into the world

trapped
wrapped in the web of remembered episodes
that you've tried so hard to understand

but finding nothing that has not always been there
you fail to make connections

there's no where left to go
